Grabbed this looking to see if it was fluff. I know Intel has evaluated OpenStack in the past. It’s not a bad day one overview of cloud security concerns and it presents a pretty handy set of questions you should be asking yourself as you evaluate automation solutions.

Canonical Creating Open Cloud White Paper
Special Mention for this one. As it discusses some of the scoping of automation technology in terms of it’s potential role in your organization. It’s an interesting and comprehensive view on the ambitious goals of OpenStack.
A really well researched paper put out on OpenStack as a viable technology. I think they hit the nail on the head in terms of people needing to show a bit of caution in adopting Openstack at this stage. The tech is still young, and as you can see from some of the issues on this site, it’s only just now starting to get put through its paces.
All in all, this is grade A fluff. Would read again.
